We are both a maternity and baby photographer, so some parents include our portraits of their pregnancy with the baby’s first-year sessions together in an album. Starting the Legacy Art Book with portraits from your maternity session is like creating a photographic timeline leading up to the birth and throughout the child’s first year. Some parents later create more albums documenting other portrait sessions of their children and family!

If you commit to ordering a Legacy Art Book by your first ordering session of the Bebe Coterie Baby Plan (which includes three sessions throughout baby’s first year, plus a maternity session if you choose to add one), we can use the portraits from that session to start building your album. Portraits from each milestone portrait session can then be added to the album. At the end of the year, you’ll have a beautiful Legacy Art Book of your baby’s first year of life! (These albums make priceless gifts to close relatives such as grandparents or godparents, by the way.)

Baby, oh baby, how fast your baby will grow! Their first year will later seem like a haze of whirlwind days. However, our Bebe Coterie baby plan won’t let you forget them! Our plan captures your baby’s once-in-a-lifetime milestones beginning with their early days of life through to their first birthday. And, because we are also known for maternity photography, you can easily add a maternity session to your Bebe Coterie plan. Newborn and maternity photography have become very popular with our clients in and around the Lansdowne, VA area.

Just what is our Bebe Coterie Baby Plan?

Newborn Session, 6-to-8-Month Session & 1-Year Session

The commissioning of our Bebe Coterie plan means you will be able to document the story of your baby’s first-year. These dramatic portraits symbolize and reflect the love you have for your baby.
It’s best to take the Newborn Portrait Session before the baby is eight days old. It’s easy to think you will remember what your child looked like during that first year. Experience, however, shows us the opposite. It all goes by so quickly, and it can sometimes seem like a daily game of catch-up!

Photography can serve us when memories won’t. Museum-quality portraits won’t fade, but memories will no matter how much we think they will not. Newborn portraits taken today will quickly become treasured through the coming years.

With our unique Bebe Coterie plan, our portrait photography studio will capture your baby’s significant milestones across that first year. The plan includes three portrait sessions: a Newborn Session, the 6 to 9-month Session (when your baby is sitting up) and the 12-month Session (when your baby is standing/taking a step or two).
 

A Momma Mia Session, Maternity Photography

A Maternity Session can be added on to a Newborn Session, to capture the future mommy’s beautiful body just before your baby’s birth. The last month of your pregnancy is an amazing time of life. It is also the perfect time to pamper yourself with a maternity photography session. The beautiful images during that final month of pregnancy can be breathtaking and artistic.

At the end of the baby’s first year, you will have a gorgeous sequence of portraits, showing milestones throughout that year. You might even be able to point to your maternity portrait one day and show your child one day where he grew for nine months!
 

How it works

The Bebe Coterie plan begins with a meeting where we will discuss style, theme, clothing, and prop options. That meeting gives you the opportunity to view some of the Wall Art portraits and other products that we offer. At this meeting, we will create a plan to document the first year. It is a visual diary we are thrilled to help produce because we know how beloved it will be to you, as well as to your child one day.

Ordering sessions will occur after each session in your baby plan. You’ll view your unique slideshow from that session, and then be able to view images individually or compare them side by side on a beautiful large screen. You will pick your favorites and order wall art portraits, albums and other products.
