Preparing in advance for going to the hospital will take some of the stress off of you when it is time for the big event. First, sit and down and plan what you need to take with you. You can have two bags one for you and one for the baby.
Some things for you to include in your bag are:
Health insurance card
Comfortable outfit to wear while you are in labor. Some hospitals permit you to wear your own clothing while others will ask you to wear a hospital gown.
Toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, deodorant, makeup, toothpaste and a toothbrush.
Lip balm
Snacks for your birthing partner. Even if you are not allowed to eat, if the labor lasts a long time then your partner should have something available to eat.

Camera and extra batteries to document the big event.
MP3 player and cell phone including chargers.
Comfy clothing for after the birth when you have visitors.

If they rescind the offer or fire you once they find out you’re pregnant, then you may have a pregnancy discrimination case.
