In recent years, professional pregnancy photos have become very popular. It seems more women want to document their baby bellies through fine art imagery not just for themselves, but for their soon-to-be-born children. These pregnancy/maternity portraits begin the child’s story and start preserving their childhood story for the future.

We have worked with couples who have chosen us to photograph a sequence of family events starting with their engagement portraits continuing through to the wedding to newborn to family portraits and so on! This type of portrait sequence is a gift parents can create for their children who won’t remember all of their childhood experiences. However, their children will be fortunate enough to have beautiful and priceless portraits that begin either while they were still in Mommy’s belly or shortly after their birth! Either way, their childhood is remembered in print, if not in memory.
